Call House Reps About Legal Cannabis Impact on State Revenues

We’ve been asking you to email leadership, but at the moment, the most impact will come from CALLING  House Health, Rules, and Agriculture Committee Chairs and other House leaders. Over the next week, the number of calls really matters!

Spring Break is the week of April 5th, so you will most likely be talking to an answering machine or a Legislative Assistant. However, your message will still get to the leader!

Your quick, personal messages are so important. The whole list will take you less than15 minutes. If you can’t call, please at least email so they get thousands of messages.

Suggestions for what to say:

  • Please support medical cannabis because I need it for……
  • Please support medical cannabis so that physicians can make the appropriate medical decisions for their patients
  • The substance found to be most effective in recent medical cannabis studies is the very substance (THC) which North Carolina law limits.
  • You and your fellow North Carolinians are at a disadvantage that other Americans  in 35 states and DC don’t face.
  • NC could save $1/4 billion ($250,000,000) annually.
